How does it work?
How to create your account?
Go to your store to download and install the FAIRTIQ app,
Then create your account by entering your phone number, then your personal information, and indicate your payment method so you can start traveling with ease. Rest assured, nothing will be charged until you travel. Your bank may ask you to confirm a payment of 0€. This is normal. This is a verification by your bank.
Select Normandy among the regions that are offered. You are ready to travel with the FAIRTIQ app!
One swipe at the start of your journey
Simply slide the “Start” button to the right. No need to enter your starting point or destination!
Your ticket
Your ticket is automatically created in your app and is always accessible. You will be asked for it if there is a ticket inspection.
Your modes of transport
If you need to connect to a different service to get to your destination, don’t put your journey on hold! FAIRTIQ will recognise your connection, regardless of the mode of transport used within the area of validity.
One swipe on arrival at your destination
Once you have reached your destination, slide the STOP button to complete your journey. A summary of your journey is automatically displayed.
The payment
Travel is recorded and billed at the end of each day of travel. As you travel, the application adapts your billing amounts to give you the most attractive rate. The amount of invoices is capped on the basis of the day-to-day titles of each network.
Details of the tariffs applied
Nomad Train: the fare is the same as the Tempo ticket. You can find out the price of your trip via our route calculator. A 50% discount is applied for -26 year old profiles.
Twisto: unit title at 1.60€, cap at 4.00€ per 24 hour period. These rates also apply to train journeys between Caen and Bretteville-Norrey
LiA: unit 1.80€ bond, cap at 4.50€ per 24-hour period. These rates also apply to the train between Le Havre and Rolleville (Lézard’d’Express)
Nomad Car: for regular lines (#111), the tariff is determined by the number of fare zones crossed (see breakdown here), according to the logic indicated here. For express lines (#122), a specific tariff logic is applied, which you can discover in your route searches.
The billing
Once your journey is complete, you will see it appear on your current invoice.
This invoice will be paid once it reaches a certain amount, or at the end of the month.
You can view your expenses from your emails or from the menu of the application > history.
You see a pricing error? Report it directly from your history > click on your ride > report a problem with that ride.

Before your travel
Remember to begin your journey BEFORE boarding a vehicle. Once your journey starts, you will be able to travel anywhere within the launch area.
The networks included in the scope of validity are:
The regular lines of the LiA network of Le Havre Seine Métropole: tram and bus.
The regular lines of the Twisto network of Caen La Mer: tram, bus, school lines of the complementary network, shuttle to the city center, Noctibus.
The two Nomad Car lines no. 111 (CAEN <> CABOURG <> DEAUVILLE <> HONFLEUR <> LE HAVRE) and no. 122 Express (CAEN <> HONFLEUR <> LE HAVRE).
The sections strictly included in Normandy regular connections Nomad Train, except on the ABANCOURT <> LE TREPORT axis.
The stations at the limits of the validity scope are: ALENCON, BUEIL, GOURNAY-FERRIERES, NONANCOURT, PONTORSON-MONT-SAINT-MICHEL, SERQUEUX, VERNON-GIVERNY.

During your travel
During a check, press “show my ticket” in FAIRTIQ. Your electronic ticket is then displayed on the screen. Present it to the screening officer.
If you leave the application’s validity area during your journey, you no longer have a valid ticket and you are not traveling in order. You are likely to receive a fine.

After your travel
As soon as you have arrived at your destination and left the vehicle, you must stop your journey by sliding the “STOP” button from right to left.
Once you have left the vehicle and stopped your journey, the application calculates the distance travelled as well as the price corresponding to the regulated rates set by each of our partner networks.
The application uses as a basis for calculating prices the tariffs of the individual shares of the borrowed networks, under conditions defined by the partner networks and applying the existing tariff agreements agreed between the networks.
In addition, the application limits prices over a 24-hour period by applying the rates of the 24h titles Twisto and LiA. This allows you to control your budget when travelling individually 3 or more times over a 24-hour period on these two networks.
